I need a page for this. I need a place to go to and remind myself that the world is a far bigger place than my own little part of it. I need a place to remind me that I have a greater purpose. I need a positive place, an inspirational place. I need to start putting those ten positive things in a place that I can refer to, in order to overcome the negative things.
This is part of the real me. I know that. What others know or don’t know is their issue, not mine.
Maybe others need a positive and inspirational place to go too.

Me
This is the prayer I wanted to put here before. I love it. It reminds me that God is always at work in my life. And oh Lord, I do thank You for that.
Thank You God
DEAR GOD:
I want to thank You for what you have already done. I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears ; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed; I am thanking you right now. I am thanking you because I am alive. I am thanking you because I made it through the day’s difficulties. I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles.
I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do better.
I’m thanking you because FATHER, YOU haven’t given up on me.

Thank you for this, both are absolutely wonderful! I would like to share one with you (and with everyone) as well. This was sent to me in an email from a dear friend who always finds beautiful things to pass along.
Fill me, Lord
by: Author Unknown, Source Unknown
Fill me with the fruits of your Spirit, Lord.
Fill me with love, so that I seek to understand and appreciate the rich variety and diversity of life that surrounds me.
Fill me with joy, so that I celebrate your presence in each and every moment I am on this earth.
Fill me with peace, so that I know how to ease those angry and sometimes violent urges that well up inside of me.
Fill me with patience, so that I stop rushing long enough to witness your miraculous work taking place all around me (and within me!)
Fill me with kindness, so that I take the extra time to help the one in need, even when it isn’t convenient for me.
Fill me with faithfulness, so that I place my mind, heart and all that I do in the service of your Gospel.
Fill me with gentleness, so that others know that I believe in a God who loves and cares for all people.
Fill me with self-control, so that I act not on my impulses and urges, but rather on my beliefs and values, which are rooted in you.
Fill me with these fruits of your spirit, Lord!
Amen.

What We Project … Is What We Get Back
A son and his father were walking in the mountains. Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: “AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”
To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain: “AAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!!”
Curious, he yells: “Who are you?”
He receives the answer: “Who are you?”
Angered at the response, he screams: “Coward!”
He receives the answer: “Coward!”
He looks to his father and asks: “What’s going on?”
The father smiles and says: “My son, pay attention.” And then he screams to the mountain: “I admire you!”
The voice answers: “I admire you!”
Again the man screams: “You are a champion!”
The voice answers: “You are a champion!”
The boy is surprised, but does not understand. Then the father explains: “People call this echo, but really this is life. It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our
actions. If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart. If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence.
This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life; life will give you back everything you have given to it.”

DON’T QUIT by Vic Johnson—Speaker & Entrepreneur
For many years I have carried around a poem called Don’t Quit. One of the lines says, “stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit. It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.” In our darkest hour it’s hard to see the end of our circumstance. All we can think of are our conditions worsening. However, it’s usually at this time that our greatest growth can occur if we’ll see the moment as a growth opportunity. But we must see it as a time to learn how to control our thoughts toward an ideal that we cherish.
One thing I share with people who seek my advice (when they think their life has come apart) is the power that even the tiniest of actions can have when taken in a negative situation. Remember in science class when we learned that “a body at rest tends to remain at rest and a body in motion tends to remain in motion?” This is especially true when overcoming
circumstances because “paralysis” (a body at rest) usually keeps us in the condition longer than we’d like.
But even more importantly, is that once you’ve started in motion (even though it may not seem like much) it’s now only a matter of time before you’re out, totally out, of the situation that has got you down today. My long-time favorite poem by an anonymous author is worth remembering today:
When things go wrong as they sometimes will, when the road you’re trudging seems all uphill.
When the funds are low and the debts are high, and you want to smile but you have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit, rest if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is strange with its twists and turns, as every one of us sometimes learns.
And many a fellow turns about, when he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow, you may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than it seems to a faint and faltering man.
Often the struggler has given up, when he might have captured the victor’s cup.
And he learned too late when the night came down, how close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are, it may be near when it seems afar.
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit, it’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.

When we started our tree service 10 years ago (where has the time gone), I found this poem and gave it to my significant other. We placed it on the front of the fridge so he could always see it and remind him during the bad days.

It does work, yeah! I got the bug back in March to have a pink inspirational blog, but realized it was more work than I had wanted to do at the time. After some thought recently, besides the fact that I wanted an avatar, I will post things that I hope will inspire others. As a Christian pink lady, that will be the basis of things I will enjoy posting for others to view. Thanks for letting me *test* the avatar here.

Isn’t it wonderful that we all have a voice and have something to say! Pink Biz, I will try to visit often, however, my time (especially this time of year) is limited and there are so many blogs that I enjoy, I may not post often.
Love your avatar and I am honored you tested here!!

I just posted a link to Gwen Smith’s music. She is worth hearing her music and listening to her story. Rachel Olsen (link) is her friend and great things on her site.
No worry about posting. It’s really all just to enjoy. *smiles*…and thank you me.
