In a recent study by Florida State University, it was discovered that two out of five bosses do not keep their word and one in four talk badly about their employees to others. You can read the article here.
In addition, there has been a lot of talk about corporate benefits. Benefits are also not all they are cracked up to be. After all, employees still pay for insurance–the companies rarely, if ever, pay for all or any part of the premium. True, the premiums could be lower due to group rates, but there are many other groups in the world that also offer lower rates.

I’ve written about this before somewhere but I keep seeing people on other blogs getting it WRONG. They go on and on about how we MKers think MK was God or we worship our nationals or some other BS. Here’s the deal–there are a lot of Christians in this old world and a lot of them are in Mary Kay. I would imagine Christians are drawn to it since MK herself was a well-known, practicing Christian and built the company on those principles. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Wow–almost ten days since I have last written. December is such a busy month, I can’t believe I forget that from year to year. One problem this year is that I get so tired–remnants of surgery I guess. I go back to the doctor on Thursday so I will see if I can get an answer to that.
Started my “in depth” Christmas shopping yesterday. I had already picked up some little things for family, and had finished the co-workers and a few friends. But the main shopping began yesterday and it was wild! Now I just have to figure out when to decorate the house, shop for and cook the food, wrap the presents and….
the list goes on.
Checked out my Sitemeter today. How interesting. One view from Wisconsin and another from San Antonio. Well, gee whiz, Wally–wonder who they could be?
There was also one from the United Kingdom and several from the ever-popular Wilmington, Delaware.
