Someone sent this calculation to me and it completely blew my mind:

Speaking of making money, did you know that TC has 54 shopping links on her blog? All of which generates money for her when people use those links to shop on those sites? Plus she has a contribution thingy set up.I don’t know much about google ad money, or shopping link money, BUT, I know someone who uses google ads on another blog and they generated $14 in one day. That blog had about 6 google ads. So I did a little math:TC has 54 shopping links. Assuming shopping links generate the same amount of money as do google ads (and not more money). TC had 9 times as many ads as did my friend’s blog.$14 x 9 = $126 a day potential. $126 x 30 days = $3,780. A MONTH.

How’s that grab ya?

My friend told me that her blog averaged 300 hits a day. I have a hard time believing TC really gets 4,000 hits a day. So let’s go with  1,000 hits a day. Which is three times the hits of my friend’s blog. So could we reason ably and logically multiply the $3,780 three times?

$3,780 x 3 = $11,340. a MONTH - potentially, possibly.

OH, and I have no idea how to factor in any profit from her “store”.

So, does it really matter if TC keeps her accounting business going or lets it dwindle away?

Is this unbelievable or what???  Another thing I saw elsewhere that makes a lot of sense is this:

additional thoughts:TC also posts on a number of other blogs, etc….adding to the time spent on this crusade.Next, maybe this IS her business. It is my theory that when PC decided to shut down, TC decided to seize the opportunity and build a name for herself as an anti-MK guru, thus hopefully leading to public and press exposure for she and her “company”. My theory says that this is ALL about growing her company and investigating image, and has little to do with MK at all…after all, she admits she didn’t lose any money, nor was she grossly mistreated.IMO, leaders of movements are usually one of two types of people:

Passionate, and personally affected: IE: MADD…usually mothers and other family members of those lost to DD, those who’ve been battered helping others, etc.
OR

OPPORTUNISTS: I think that TC falls into this category. She has no personal vested interest, so why bother? It doesn’t affect her family or finances. Why bother? Maybe to grow her other business, thus affecting her finances. So, could she be using all of these followers for her own personal FINANCIAL gain? Have you seen the lawyers advertising on TV for clients with this cancer, or affected by this medicine? That’s what it reminds me of.

This is SO right on the money.  And making the money from the ads and a TIP JAR.  I’m sorry, but I would just be embarassed to even put that on there.  Proves to me that her other “business” is making no money.

Do the rats that are following this Pied Piper realize they are paying her bills???  Probably not–they are blind mice after all.
